Project: Girlguiding 2020 Survey Analysis

Client: Girlguiding

We were commissioned by Girlguiding to analyse and draw out key themes from the free text responses in their annual survey. Using R, we deployed a range of text analysis techniques, including word frequency analysis, latent topic analysis, and sentiment analysis, to reveal the key themes and commonalities, as well as identify representative quotes.

The analysis split respondents into parents/guardians, volunteers, and the members themselves. This allowed us to identify where there were different key themes across respondent types. We included quotes throughout the final report to exemplify each theme.
