Schools and local authorities have critical roles in identifying and supporting pupils who are at risk of dropping out of post-16 education, employment and training.
Our analysis takes data from a number of sources to track the outcomes of young people based on key characteristics for example prior attainment, ethnicity, SEN, deprivation. We provide summary analysis on a cohort by local authority or by school.
Using sophisticated statistical techniques, we have identified a set of characteristics (and their relative importance) that indicate an increased risk of NEET. We provide a list of these against individual pupils so that you can see quickly where to target your support.
